There are still 192,000 Holocaust survivors living in Israel. Last year, 14,800 Holocaust survivors died.
We know that more than 6 million Jews died in World War II, those who miraculously survived to the largest genocide the world has ever seen, still live with the physical and mental scars.
Our mission is to reach those who survived the Holocaust before they pass away and give them their final memories that are the exact opposite of what they were born into: LOVE.
That is why we support the Holocaust Survivors and promote a banquet to honor them every year! The Last one was on December 15th, in partnership with HHC (Helping Hand Coalition) we celebrated in Tiberias the 10th annual banquet for 720 Holocaust survivors. Certainly, this event made a huge impact on their lives, and the survivors expressed their appreciation.
The word “Aliyah”, is a very important word in Hebrew , it means the immigration of Jews from the diaspora to the Land of Israel. The word “Olim” (from the same Hebrew root) means “immigrants” returning home from the nations where they have been scattered. There are many prophecies about Aliyah.
Isaiah 49:22 - This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my banner to the peoples. They will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.
We are living the prophecies right now and we must do our part to support the waves of immigration to Israel.
If you are a Christian you too have been called to become GOD’s end-time partner as you do this holy work. If you also believe in this, join us in our efforts to support the Alyiah of the Bnei Menashe from India and support the new immigrants that made the aliyah to Israel recently.
This crisis threatens everyone's way of life, but it is especially difficult for people who were already financially vulnerable. Our farm allows us to produce vegetables according to the season, however it is not enough to feed the 100 families in Tiberias and surroundings. We need to buy canned and non-perishable items. Today we have a team working on the farm and volunteers who distribute the HEART LIFT FOOD BOXES from house to house. The actions of outdoor distributions are made in partnership with the prefecture of Tiberias that inform us the residents who are suffering form lack of food. The process starts in the harvest, packaging and distribution. We need your help now! Each HEART LIFT FOOD BOXES costs 40 dollars and each family is supplied twice a month and costs us 80 dollars. Be part of it!
The first Ethiopians arrived in Israel in the 1980s. There are already two or even three generations of Ethiopians living in Israel. Of the 149,000 Ethiopians Beta community, almost 50,000 were born in Israel. Most arrived at Operation Salomon, that was an Israeli military operation in 1991 which brought many Ethiopian Jews to Israel. Although many Israeli Ethiopian Jews are part of the society, they still have the highest poverty rate among the Jews in Israel, and suffer much higher levels of discrimination. We support the Ethiopian Jewish to integrate into Israeli society , through GUZO, an institution founded by David Safafa.
David is a lawyer that supports the Ethiopian Jews in Israel, not only the Olim, but also the first groups with food, school backpacks and provides legal aid for the underprivileged.
SONS OF DAVID
Israel is one of the most complex countries in the world in terms of history, religion, politics and ideologies, citizens, its education system, language, and much more.
The Israeli population is quite young, with a median age ranging from 22 to 35 years, including quite a large group of children and young people In Israel roughly 350,000 youth are identified as At-risk youth.
At-risk youth are often identified after running away, skipping school, drinking underage, engaging in sexual behavior, displaying disruptive behavior, bullying/harassment, fighting, and committing acts of vandalism.
At-risk youth in the area of Tiberias are fairly common due to the local low paying jobs, and shortage of professionals that supports at-risk teenagers. We help them to develop future youth leaders, that will become agents of transformation, that will impact the lives of other young adults so that they will be able to realize a brighter future ahead!
